Okay. Here it is. My attempt at blogging. My husband does it. My friends do it. So the natural progression is for me to start. So here I go.

For those of you who don't know me, I'll give you a quick rundown. I am a 44-yr.-old wife and mother of 5 precious kids, aging from 2-13. They are my life. I love crafty things, and have, as a result, started my own business making hairbows, and personalized clothing/gift items with my embroidery machine, which seems to be an extention of my body these days. I'm not complaining. I'm thrilled that my business is taking off. It's just another ball to juggle in my already full life. Again, not complaining. Of all the hats I wear, there's not a single one that I dread putting on at any given time.

As I'm writing this, I'm wondering why I've decided to do this at all. You see, I've always been the type person that wants everyone to think the best of me. Therefore, I'm not one to reveal my faults or insecurities. But if I've learned anything in my 44 years, it's that I am a child of God, nowhere near perfection, but a pretty good person, striving to be better. And I don't know of a single person that is perfect, so I will write my thoughts, passions, beliefs, desires, frustrations, weaknesses, blessings, and so on because they are what make me, me. Plus, sometimes I just need an avenue to vent, or brag on my kids, or just to ramble, much like I'm doing right now...
